Super Size Me?
The oversizing of heat and cooling systems (commercial and residential) is out of control and has been forever. Building thermal performance has improved a lot over the past 75 years (and especially the last 20 years), systems are sizing based on old rules of thumb and/or just doing a lazy like-for-like replacement. Join us to learn about all the negative effects of oversizing (first cost, performance, energy usage, comfort, etc.) and some of the easy ways to “right-size” replacement boilers, furnaces, and RTUs.
